Dutch Oven: Meat Loaf

Items Needed:

3 lbs hamburger
1-1/2 cups cracker crumbs or oatmeal
2 eggs
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
1 onion
1 green pepper (optional)
1-1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp marjoram
 
12" Dutch Oven (serves 8)
24 briquettes (9 bottom/15 top)
cook for 60 minutes
 
knife, cutting board, can opener, mixing bowl and foil also needed.

  1. Chop onion and green pepper. Then mix all ingredients in mixing bowl.
  2. Line inside of oven with foil, and place oven on top of 9 hot briquettes.
  3. Place ingredients in oven, cover with lid, place 15 hot briquettes on lid, and cook for 60 minutes.
