Cobbler

12"Dutch Oven (serves 12-14)
25briquettes (15 bottom/10 top)
cook for 45 minutes

2 cans(29-32 oz size) of sliced peaches
(cans of cherries, apples, etc. can be substituted)
1 boxcake mix (either white or yellow)
(eggs and oil are not needed, unless a fluffy topping is desired)
1/3 stick  margarine or butter
ground cinnamon

can opener and knife also needed

Place oven on top of 10 hot briquettes.

Pour peaches into oven.

Sprinkle dry cake mix evenly on top of peaches (eggs and oil are not needed).

Sprinkle cinnamon on top of cake mix.

Cut margarine into small squares and evenly distribute the squares on top of the cake mix. Put lid on oven, place 15 hot briquettes on top, and bake 45 minutes. Check cobbler after 35 minutes by sticking a knife into the cake part. If knife comes out clean, cobbler is done. If knife comes out gooey, continue baking.

Hint: The cobbler topping will come out biscuit like. If a light fluffy topping is desired, then mix cake ingredients with eggs and oil, pour over peaches, and increase cooking time a little.
